Paul is a co-founder of Frank Investments and is the Chief Executive and Investments Officer. Under his management, the balanced portfolio has generated compound annual returns of c.7% on average since its inception in 2009. Paul has over 35 years of portfolio and asset management experience, with 25 years within the trading and research divisions of some of the leading global investment banks and has a strong knowledge of risk management as well as all asset classes from equities, derivatives and credit. He has broad experience on both the customer and principal sides of the industry. With senior roles at S. G. Warburg, Schroder, Citibank and HSBC he has a comprehensive understanding of the workings of the financial markets and has been called upon to provide detailed analysis and commentary on market conditions by many internal divisions and external clients over the years.

Paul's investment banking career is famous for being considered a safe pair of hands. Paul has been well known for a number of landmark deals including the launch of BT’s public share offering, which he priced, and he was responsible for the largest bought deal at the time by an investment bank when BAe sold five per cent of Orange in 1998. Paul's most senior role within Citibank was to create and manage the special situations investment team.

Paul presents his opinions on CNBC television and Bloomberg radio in feature interviews. He was a co-host for ShareRadio’s financial breakfast show for several years. Paul is asked to cover a wide range of topics in the financial news and the family office industry. Paul has also been asked to speak at Bloomberg conferences, and investment dinners.

Paul holds the prestigious Chartered Fellow status by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), the most highly regarded designation for those who have contributed with distinction to both the financial investment management industry and to the CISI. Paul Barry-Walsh is a successful technology entrepreneur and is the Co-Founder and Chairman of Frank Investments.

Paul Barry-Walsh was awarded Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to enterprise and charity in 2021.

Paul has been granted the Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion and also received a Beacon Award for Creative Giving. In addition, he has won the CNBC/FT European Philanthropist of the year and the Entrepreneur Country inaugural award for the Entrepreneur's Entrepreneur.

Paul’s early career was at IBM. He left IBM in 1986 to form Safetynet, which went on to become one of the UK's leading providers of Business Continuity Services. Paul founded Netstore in 1996, which was floated on the London Stock Exchange main market four years later. He sold Safetynet to Guardian IT for £170 million.

In 2001, Paul established The Fredericks Foundation that is now one of the leading microfinance organisations in the United Kingdom having funded over 1,000 new businesses. Paul is also involved in a number of enterprises as a director or investor.

Rob has over 30 years’ experience in financial markets specializing in global financial services and real estate. He began his career on the buyside at Janus Henderson and subsequently held analyst and portfolio manager roles at JPMorgan Investment Management, Gartmore, GLG Partners, Merebis and Gladstone Partners. Rob subsequently moved to HSBC as a Managing Director responsible for global investment bank research and most recently was Head of Financials and Investment Companies at Edison Group, an independent research and investor relations firm. He has also from time to time worked on M&A consultancy projects.

Rob has a Master’s degree in Banking & Finance from the University of Birmingham and is a full CFA charterholder.

Amy is Frank Investments' Compliance Officer and manages the regulatory services business. She has worked in the financial services industry for 16 years and has experience on both sides of the compliance fence.

For the 4 years before Amy joined Frank Investments, she was a Compliance Manager at a large FCA umbrella firm with the main responsibility of monitoring Appointed Representatives. Her clients included Hedge Funds (AIFMD), Wealth Managers, Corporate Finance advisory teams, Private Equity, Advisers to offshore funds and Distributors.

Amy started her career at Eldon Capital Management and became Fund Administration Manager responsible for the operational and compliance management of the Investment Manager, UCITS and Hedge Fund. She went with these funds to Hiscox Investment Management and then onto HIM Capital.

She holds the Securities & Investment Institute Certificate in Investments and Investment Administration Qualification.

Hannah joined the Frank Investments team in February 2020, following a career break to raise a family and move to the country. Her role in Operations and Administration is to support Frank Investments Professional Services.

Hannah also assists EI Advisory a B2B Media Intelligence Company. She previously worked for Knight Frank, London Residential and latterly for Annabel’s (Berkeley Square Ltd) as Private Secretary to the Chairman, Mark Birley.

Janet Montagu joined Frank Investments in September 2022 as an Investment & Compliance Administration Consultant.

Janet has 16 years of wealth management experience. She has previously worked for major asset management companies in Australia.

She was an Executive Director at UBS Global Asset Management, Sydney, where she was the Head of Equities Trading for Australia and New Zealand.

Since moving to the UK in 2009 she has taken time out to raise her family and in 2014 returned to the workforce when she took on the role of Office Manager for a boutique London Architectural firm.

She has a wealth of experience in portfolio construction, mandate compliance, equities trading, client relationship management and client reporting.

Hayley Maclean joined Frank Investments in November 2022 as a Compliance Consultant.

Hayley has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. She spent 25 years at one of the world’s leading investment banks as an Associate Credit Risk Specialist in Credit Risk Management covering counterparty risk in the European mutual funds space and prior to that as a Senior Researcher within their Business Information Department.

More recently Hayley has been working in Compliance for a growing Wealth Management & Investment Advisory business and prior to that was The Compliance Officer for a multi-family office.

Hayley is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment holding a qualification in Global Financial Compliance.

Sally has extensive experience within private wealth management, starting her career with Merrill Lynch working with private clients investing in the US markets. For the next ten years she worked with several American institutions including in the Salomon Brothers team that set up a Private Investment Department in London for ultra high net worth individuals.

Her most recent role prior to Frank Investments was with the Agricultural Bank of Japan forging relationships with 'AAA' rated institutional investors in the global fixed income markets.

Charles has over 35 years' experience in investment management with focus on alternative assets including VC & PE; He has launched investment funds for GNI, Credit Agricole, Old Mutual and JO Hambro for distribution in over 30 countries.

Will is a director of Libra Investment Services, a systematic equity valuation business where he is currently focused on developing an active ETF solution. Will started his career broking Asian equities and has since held buy-side roles as both a prop-trader and as an investment manager.

Will is also an investor at Puffin Point, a UK based family office focused on supporting high quality UK businesses and entrepreneurs, where he predominantly focuses on platform technology investments within the Life Sciences sector. Will has a BSc in Medicinal Biochemistry from Bristol University.

Robin has over 30 years’ experience of originating and advising on private equity transactions and investments. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen in 1987 and subsequently pursued a career in Corporate Finance. He worked for the investment banking business of Barclays - BZW (now part of Credit Suisse) in international M&A and then at Deloitte & Touche and Arthur Andersen Corporate Finance where he headed the European Deal Origination Teams. 

In addition, Robin has extensive experience of advising and originating major M&A transactions including the buyout of Tetley Tea and Principal Hotels Group. He has had significant experience of advising on and originating real estate transactions. During 2012, Robin worked in partnership with Colliers International and led the Cornucopia Capital team in respect of the €120 million financing of TVHG Group. In 2015, he was involved in both an origination and advisory capacity on the buyout of a €750 million German real estate portfolio.

Robin Choudhury was an Investor and Director of David Lloyd Resorts, a vehicle focused on the acquisition of leisure- and lifestyle-related real estate globally. Through his work with David Lloyd over a 20-year time period, Robin has built an extensive network of contacts with investors, financiers and advisory firms in the leisure sector.   During his work at BZW and Deloitte he gained significant experience of advising on flotations and Equity Capital Market transactions. In particular, he led the successful listing of Clubhaus PLC during 1995. This transaction was particularly complex as it involved the simultaneous de-merger and re-listing of Ex Lands plc, the property related holding company
